Welding Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of welders to ensure timely completion of projects
• Plan, prioritize and assign welding tasks to team members based on project schedules
• Monitor and ensure the quality of welding work and adherence to safety protocols
• Prepare welding reports and maintain accurate records of materials and equipment used
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of completed projects
• Stay updated on new welding techniques and technologies and recommend training opportunities for team members
  

Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) qualification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with creating and implementing safe work procedures
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
