Welder Foreman

At Al Madina Agencies & Services LLC, we are a leading company in the oil and gas industry based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are currently seeking a Welder Foreman to join our team. As a Welder Foreman with mechanical experience in oil and gas, you will be responsible for supervising on-site welding, piping, and fabrication crews, managing daily work schedules, enforcing strict health and safety rules, and ensuring all joints meet relevant code standards such as ASME, AWS, and API.

Key Responsibilities:

• Allocate Tasks: Assign daily work goals to welders, pipefitters, fabricators, and support crews.

• Read Drawings: Interpret isometric, P&ID, structural, and fabrication blueprints.

• Monitor Progress: Track field productivity and report daily milestones to site engineers and project managers.

• Ensure Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, including hot-work and permit-to-work systems.

• Conduct Inspections: Inspect completed welds and joints to ensure they meet quality and code standards.

• Coordinate Resources: Manage equipment, materials, and manpower efficiently to meet project requirements.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas mechanical operations.

• Proven expertise in welding, piping, and fabrication techniques.

• Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, and API codes and standards.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.

• Proficiency in managing onshore and offshore site operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certification in welding or fabrication.

• Previous experience in a supervisory role.

• Familiarity with quality control processes in the oil and gas sector.
