Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and store incoming goods according to company procedures
• Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment using the appropriate packaging materials
• Sort and place products on shelves and racks according to organizational standards
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times
• Monitor inventory levels and report on any discrepancies or shortages
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of stock levels and movements
• Inspect and maintain the warehouse equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment
• Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience as a warehouse assistant or similar position
• Hands-on experience with warehouse operations and equipment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
• Physical ability to lift and move bulky items
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus
