Vice President of Finance

Responsibilities

• Oversee, direct, and manage the company's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and risk management.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and systems that align with the company's business goals.
• Conduct regular financial analyses and produce financial reports to guide strategic decision-making.
• Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with the executive leadership team to make informed financial decisions.
• Monitor and manage financial performance metrics, identifying areas for potential improvement.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
• Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls to ensure the integrity of the company's financial transactions and reports.
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial managerial position.
• Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, and financial data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing financial systems and strategies.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
• Proficient in using financial software and conducting financial modeling.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
• A professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA) is highly desirable.
• Exceptional ability to communicate and present complex financial data to non-financial audiences.
• High level of commercial acumen and a record of success in managing the financial aspects of a business.
• Demonstrated experience in driving efficiency and profitability through process improvement and organizational development.
