User Experience Manager

• Build relationships with peers within and external clients & partners.
• Advise and support across every stage of the project lifecycle.
• Ensure design decisions align with the needs of end users and client businesses.
• Proactively involve business stakeholders in the design process.
• Thrive on collaboration & feedback and present ideas to senior stakeholders and executives.
• Lead and oversee at least 2 UX, UI, and Interaction Design project teams.
• Set craft quality standards across qualitative & evaluative research, insight articulation, experience modelling, user experience design, visual & interaction design, and testing.
• Collaborate with technology stakeholders to align with the group's tech infrastructure.
• Lead teams in developing insights, defining opportunities, envisioning concepts, and creating meaningful user feedback loops.
• Be part of discipline leadership, shaping and curating domains.
• Nurture the growth of each domain by implementing contemporary toolsets & frameworks.
• Own each assigned project and be accountable for its outcome.
• Manage and develop direct reports and their juniors.
• Mentor, coach, guide & support your team and participate in talent identification & acquisition.
• Craft approaches, write proposals, and present them to stakeholders.
• Identify additional opportunities to extend projects beyond initial scopes.
• Create content for thought leadership activities.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
• Experience in a consultancy/agency with a strong design culture.
• Stakeholder-centric design strategy & consulting approach.
• Track record as a design leader delivering strategies, systems, services & products.
• Fluency in conceptualizing and developing journeys & blueprints.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking, world-class craft, and business impact.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Excellent presentation & storytelling skills.
• Knowledge of best practices & industry trends in design & experience.
• Grounded experience in contemporary design research, prototyping & testing tools.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, pragmatic, and welcomes ambiguous challenges.
• High peer, end-user, and client satisfaction.
• Brilliant organizational skills.
• Affinity for values and a deep desire to create impactful services, products & experiences.
• Expert knowledge of design, prototyping & testing tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
