Transportation Assistant

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods and materials
• Track shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs clearance forms
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve transportation issues
• Maintain transportation records and generate reports on transportation activities
• Collaborate with logistics team to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and guidelines
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in transportation or logistics will be an advantage
• Proficient in using transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
