Transportation Assistant

• Coordinate and schedule shipments, deliveries, and pick-ups.
• Monitor and track cargo and shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist with dispatching drivers and tracking their routes.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to obtain necessary information for transportation arrangements.
• Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
• Maintain transportation records and databases accurately and timely.
• Proactively identify ways to improve transportation processes and procedures.
  

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, processes, and procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
