Technical Advisor

In This Position You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Interpret user requirements and develop/Review Defence Purchasing Descriptions.
• Investigate RODUM reports and provide valuable technical advice.
• Demonstrate your technical knowledge and provide advice on investigation outcomes focusing on safety, compliance with legislation and vehicle availability and readiness.
• Create and design Engineering Changes in support of CA19 fleet (raise new Engineering changes, Conduct CCJOS and prelim design work and support in Preliminary Hazard identification for development of Vehicle Hazard Logs).
• Participate in CA19 Knowledge sharing (impart knowledge and experience in Group forums for active discussion to develop logical effective outcomes through participation in collective Section Working Groups and System Safety working Groups).
  

As The Ideal Candidate, You Will Bring

• A current, active AGSVA Security Clearance of NV1 or above
• Technical experience within the automotive and heavy vehicle industry
• Knowledge of automotive legislation
• Knowledge of Australian Design Rules (ADR) compliance
• Knowledge of Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG) code
• Experience within Defence / Defence Industry
