Our client, an events management organization in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to manage the company s talent pool and database that is used to deliver its main services towards


Primary Duties and Responsibilities


  • Maintain and conduct the sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective to find perfect matches for this event talent pool serving the companys long-term goals and answering to the client event requests and ensure the pool is fresh at all times
  • Support on the human resources requirements for the company s existing employees and manage the recruitment, screening, and interview processes to place new hires internally
  • Synergize and coordinate talent and staffing needs at both the level of external event talent pool and internal employees
  • Manage, update, source, and maintain the company s event talent pool as per above objectives
  • Provide input to ensure that the talent pool and the teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals
  • Create and implement an end-to-end hiring process to ensure a positive experience for candidates coming for both the talent pool as well as the internal vacancies
  • Design and implement plans and procedures to forecast, prepare and deliver hiring and talent hunt campaigns for all staffing/manpower projects & requirements
  • Ensure that talent and staffing needs are being met
  • Devise and implement attraction campaigns to further populate the event talent pool
  • Review and update the event talent pools database on ongoing basis
  • Identify talent needs, candidate selection criteria, candidate profiles and liaise with management as well as internal teams to determine recruitment needs for both the talent pool and internal vacancies
  • Source applicants through online and offline channels, such as recruitment sites (Likednin, Indeed, Instagram), job boards, social platforms, as well as print media, posters, and flyers, when required and other professional networks
  • Create job descriptions and interview/screening questions that reflect the requirements for both the talent pool and each internal position
  • Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references
  • Evaluate applications and screen candidates via calls, emails, profiles, as well as facilitating pre-interview assessments
  • Compile interview questions and conduct in-person or video call interviews where
  • Prepare hiring forecasts as part of the companys event business requirements
  • Generate monthly updates for company s leadership about current talent pool status and upcoming talent acquisition initiatives
  • Suggest new ideas and trends for improving talent acquisition activities
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
  • Create a documenting process and maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders when requested
  • Support company employees with the day-to-day HR operations


Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:


  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar talent acquisition role
  • Professional certification, degree, or equivalent in human resources management or similar field
  • Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants
  • Understanding of the event industry
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Willing to work in Abu Dhabi
