Store Supervisor

Winterberry Gardens has an opening for a Lawn Care Tech. Communication skills, as well as the ability to be self-motivated, organized, and manage their time effectively

Compensation as a lawn care technician is hourly and is a seasonal position with the winter employment options. Valid driver s license, good driving record, ability to work some Saturdays required.

Experience as a Connecticut certified pesticide applicator required. Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Application of fertilizer and pesticides according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions, and regulations.
• Document completed work legibly and accurately on a daily basis, in accordance with company policies.
• Correctly diagnose lawn issues and make appropriate recommendations.
• Build and maintain customer relations in field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the Winterberry image.

Some work is performed outside in unfavorable weather conditions. You must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs.

Aeration and Over Seeding experience a plus

Required experience:

• Lawn Technician: 1+ year

Required licenses or certifications:

• Connecticut Pesticide Applicator License
• Driver's License
