Workplace Options have an exciting opportunity for a qualified IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. This would be a hybrid position with a mixture of home and office working days.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing, installing and configuring Windows XP, 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems.
- Network performance, troubleshooting problems and maintaining systems.
- Building and deploying system images using tools like WDS.
- Responding to and resolving helpdesk requests for phone and network systems and applications.
- Purchasing software, hardware, phone and other IT supplies.
- Inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT equipment.
- Monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and performing necessary maintenance to support network and phone system availability.
- Moving IT equipment as per need.
- Working as a backup of other team members if required. And work as per on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Experience with Windows server setup/install/management advantageous.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Willing to work on evening shifts.
- Exposure to Windows servers and server hardware.
- Experience working with automated dialing systems preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office/Office 365 troubleshooting.
- Familiar with Microsoft AD. Exposure to backup devices and tools.
