Specialist Training Competence Management

• Review project recommendations aligned to identified training and development solutions for the project team to endorse.
• Conduct an analysis of the current state of the AFRS training and competence requirements across company operations including the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
• Identify the gaps and areas for improvement in the AFRS training and competence framework, including structure, governance, strategic positioning of resources, capabilities, and future challenges.
• Support the development of the overarching vision and strategy for the future state of the AFRS, including its centralization, unification, modernization, and optimization.
• Support the development of a fit for purpose unified training and development structure for the AFRS, including the roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines of the key positions, and optimization of resources.
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in fire and rescue training and competence delivery and development of training programs, preferably in the oil and gas industry, industrial and aviation sectors.
• A proven track record in training and competence management within fire and rescue operations, with preferable experience within organizational transformation and workforce skills development.
• A sound knowledge of the best practices and the international standards in fire and rescue training and competence requirements, including the NFPA and European frameworks..
