JOB DESCRIPTION
• Coordinate with Marine Contractor for strict implementation of safety rules and regulations established by the Petroleum Ports Authority (ADNOC/PPA), the port information manual prepared by Marine Department and to stop loading and advise to close the port in adverse weather conditions or if tanker / loading facilities conditions are unsafe.
• Prepare and/or review marine procedures, regulations, standing instruction and working criteria for Das and Zirku Terminal & jetty, such as tanker loading, moving, and mooring of vessels & SPMs’ tele systems.
• Guide/ Support marine emergency operations at sea, such as pollution combat and control, rescue & salvage operations, firefighting, and Oil Spill.
