Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly professional
**Sonographer**
to join a leading healthcare / diagnostic facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while delivering an excellent standard of patient care.
**Candidate Requirements**
* Bachelors Degree Diploma or recognised qualification in
**Diagnostic Medical Sonography Medical Imaging Radiography or a related discipline**
.
* Postgraduate qualification in
**Diagnostic Ultrasound**
where required.
* Must hold a
**valid DHA licence or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Sonographer**
or be eligible to obtain one.
* Minimum
**25 years of relevant post-qualification sonography experience**
.
* Previous experience within a hospital diagnostic imaging centre private clinic or specialist healthcare facility.
* Strong practical experience performing a range of ultrasound examinations.
* Excellent knowledge of ultrasound equipment imaging protocols and diagnostic procedures.
* Strong understanding of patient safety infection control and clinical governance standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to explain procedures clearly and provide reassurance to patients.
* High attention to detail with the ability to produce consistently high-quality diagnostic images.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists physicians and the wider clinical team.
**Preferred Clinical Experience**
Experience across some or all of the following areas would be highly desirable:
* Abdominal ultrasound
* Pelvic ultrasound
* Renal and urinary tract ultrasound
* Thyroid ultrasound
* Breast ultrasound
* Musculoskeletal ultrasound
* Vascular / Doppler ultrasound
* Small parts ultrasound
* Obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound
* General diagnostic ultrasound
**Key Responsibilities**
* Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical protocols.
* Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for review and interpretation.
* Review patient history and clinical information before examinations.
* Prepare patients and explain procedures prior to imaging.
* Identify abnormalities and ensure appropriate images and measurements are recorded.
* Work closely with Radiologists and referring Physicians.
* Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
* Ensure ultrasound equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately.
* Follow DHA facility and international healthcare standards.
* Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
* Deliver a professional compassionate and patient-focused service.
Salary budget: 15000 - 25000 AED per month medical visa bonus
