Job Summary

Lead site electrical commissioning activities including SAT energization and functional testing while ensuring safe timely and technically compliant execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise electrical SAT energization functional testing and troubleshooting activities.
  • Lead technicians and subcontractors working on SMCC MCC SCADA transformers switchgear motors and electrical heaters.
  • Prepare and verify testing dossiers single-line diagrams schematics procedures test sheets and required tools.
  • Ensure electrical testing procedures are followed and test results are accurately recorded.
  • Arrange PTW LOTO PPE toolbox talks barricading and access controls and manage commissioning risks and SIMOPS.
  • Monitor manpower progress and spares against plan; escalate constraints and implement recovery actions.
  • Investigate equipment faults and interfaces with other systems and coordinate corrective solutions.
  • Liaise with engineering construction QA/QC HSE vendors and other disciplines to maintain available work fronts.

Requirements
  • Engineering degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 12 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • Strong experience in electrical commissioning energization SAT and functional testing.
  • Proven ability to supervise large technician and subcontractor teams.



Required Skills:

Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
