We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist for one of our trusted shops in Danville, IL on a Direct Hire basis.
Looking for at least 1-5 years experience on both a Manual Mill and/or manual Lathe.
Great room for advancement with this company!
Requirements
Ability to operate manual lathes and mills.
Ability to use Metal cutting saws.
Need to have previous shop experience.
Knowledge of machining of various materials, steels, aluminum, brass, cooper, plastic and man-made materials.
Ability to set up zero and reference points, offsets, compensation, calculating requirements, including basic math, and geometry.
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
