Senior Product Engineer - Bancs Core Banking

Position Name: VMWare Architect

Responsibilities:

• Provides Infrastructure Services solutions to a wide variety of customers in several industries
• Play a critical client-facing role working closely with stakeholders (Business, IT and Applications) to understand existing “As-Is” current On-prem Infrastructure and “To-Be” Cloud Infrastructure
• Facilitates Data Gathering and prepare ground for “Analysis” and “Recommendation”.

Qualifications:

• 10+ Years experience in Windows server, Virtualization/Private Cloud Administration, infrastructure design, implementations and management (L3 Level).
• Experience in design, implementation & management of multi-tier application environments
• Exposure to windows enterprise monitoring and patching tools like SCOM,
• Worked on creating VRA Blueprints, Tenants,
• Should have Management experience on VMWARE ESXi, vCenter solutions
• Should have managed Integrated VRA/VRO/VROPS/ solutions, VRO, ABX Workflows
• Exposure to building and managing windows Microsoft failover clustering
• Hands on experience in Hyper-V production environments
• Hands on Monitoring/Responding to alerts/events, Hardware replacement with OEM
• Good knowledge in infrastructure monitoring and maintenance including networking, group policies, backups, monitoring, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, patching,
• Good Knowledge on Creating VMs, Templates, Port Groups, Datastores
• Good Knowledge on vSphere Networking, Snapshots, Clones, HCI Solutions

Key Technical Skills:

• Virtualization: Vspehere 5, ESXi, VCOPS, ThinApp, vBlock, Nutanix
• Infrastructure: Experience in Infra Migration project
• Operating System: Windows 2008, 2012 servers, Solaris 8/9/10, Linux
• Scripting: Windows Powershell, PowerCLI Vsphere
• Tools: SCOM, SCCM, vRops monitoring tool, GIT

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good understanding of AD, DHCP, DNS, OS upgrades, upgrading ESX
• Validated expertise to create and manage user groups, renaming groups, deleting
• Experience installing configuring and maintaining server hardware in Windows environment
• Good trouble shooting and analytical skills, troubleshooting of LDAP in
• Good Knowledge on P2V, V2V migrations, vSAN, NGINX and the HTTP
• Experience using AWS like VPC, and regionally distributed EC2 instances, Docker,
• Work experience in large virtualized datacenters, Upgrades hardware /software /
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
