Senior Planning Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Senior Planning Engineer specializing in mechanical oil and gas projects, you will play a pivotal role in developing, tracking, and managing project schedules for various mechanical workflows. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and update integrated project schedules using industry-specific tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.

- Plan and coordinate mechanical installation activities, including equipment such as pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, and piping.

- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.

- Prepare progress reports and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders effectively.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements & Skills:

- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical project planning within the Oil and Gas industry.

- Proficiency in using project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.

- Strong understanding of mechanical installation processes and equipment in oil and gas projects.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex scheduling challenges.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
