Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Officer Housekeeping to oversee housekeeping operations within a healthcare environment. The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness hygiene infection prevention safety vendor performance and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare infection prevention and control (IPC) and safety requirements.
- Monitor housekeeping vendors and evaluate service quality against agreed KPIs and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections audits and quality assessments.
- Identify service gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Supervise coach and develop housekeeping teams.
- Monitor cleaning procedures materials equipment and service standards.
- Coordinate with healthcare and facility teams to resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean safe and patient-focused environment.
- Prepare operational reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree or relevant diploma in Hospitality Facilities Management Healthcare Management or a related field.
- 5 years of housekeeping experience preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Previous supervisory or senior-level experience is required.
- UAE healthcare experience is preferred.
