Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and strategic leadership in the management of company s Canadian corporate real estate portfolio to ensure Portfolio Optimization and Expense Efficiency.
Work with CRE key stakeholders to develop and mobilize a roadmap and plan for company s footprint that is aligned to workforce and business strategies globally.
Through CRE industry events, publications, reports and seminars, maintain up-to-date industry/market information on CRE best practices. Make recommendations on how these new CRE practices could apply to the company CRE portfolio.
Provide strategic & financial analysis and thought leadership to inform Business Unit decision-making.
Accountable to Real Estate Leadership team as the key point of contact for major capital project reporting for Toronto/Canada.
Accountable to Real Estate Leadership team as a key point of contact for Toronto/Canada for enterprise initiatives that will impact the organization such as Future of Work.
Work in partnership with Regional Leadership (Facility Directors, Property Directors), and other functions as needed to deliver holistic CRE strategies and solutions.
What you will need to succeed:
University or college degree required, MBA an asset.
Minimum 10+ years in real estate strategy, with progressing responsibility.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on corporate real estate strategies.
An understanding of the latest trends in workplace strategies and corporate real estate.
Practical working knowledge of CRE financial terms and principles.
Excellent analytical and thought leadership capabilities.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent communication & presentation skills (both written and verbal).
Excellent ability for teamwork, and engaging stakeholders.
