Job Description

- Analyse and interpret navigation requirements as specified by the system product management team to translate requirements into navigation tasks to support the project scope as per specifications and timelines
- Design and develop the concept of navigation system to identify navigation function modes and interfaces
- Identify functions that the navigation system shall perform during a mission
- Collaborate with the product management team to identify all sensors required to complete and perform a mission, including their accuracy requirements; and execute a high-level design of the inertial and hybrid navigation system and mechanization
- Set up architecture of the simulation to enable development of navigation system and subsequent algorithms
- Create navigation system functional area specification and/or software requirement specification and document detailed interface design of the navigation system
- Manage and integrate functionality of the navigation simulation of sensor models and navigation algorithms
- Support the creation of vehicle and flight test procedures to formally qualify navigation performance
