Senior Engineer - Construction (Preservation & Maintenance)

Lead the project preservation and maintenance programme to maintain equipment integrity through storage construction commissioning and handover.
Develop the preservation strategy responsibility matrix and discipline specific procedures.
Translate vendor requirements into inspection routines schedules and preservation check sheets.
Coordinate warehouse construction vendor and commissioning responsibilities for equipment care.
Plan manpower materials consumables and specialist support for preservation activities.
Monitor compliance overdue tasks and equipment condition; lead corrective action for deficiencies.
Ensure preservation records and inspection status are reflected in completion tracking systems.
Assess changes in storage conditions and construction sequence for preservation impact.
- Plan controlled depreservation and handover with outstanding risks and records clearly transferred
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 8 years in construction or equipment maintenance including 5 years of relevant site preservation experience.
Required Skills:
Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
