Senior Engineer - Construction (AWP)

Lead Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) activities to convert engineering and construction plans into executable work packages and support safe predictable field delivery.
Align the path of construction with engineering procurement construction and commissioning priorities.
Define Construction Work Areas and coordinate Engineering Construction and Installation Work Packages (EWPs CWPs and IWPs).
Prepare and review package scope drawings quantities resources safety requirements and quality records.
Maintain constraint registers covering design materials access permits equipment and predecessor work.
Coordinate with planners and discipline teams to release packages only when readiness criteria are met.
Track package progress productivity and completion against the construction schedule.
Use model reviews and constructability discussions to identify interfaces and improve work sequencing.
Maintain revision control and support package closeout lessons learned and turnover.
Bachelors degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline.
8 years in EPC construction including 3 years in AWP or workface planning.
Practical knowledge of AWP workface planning and multidisciplinary EPC construction.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings bills of materials and construction schedules.
Proficiency in Excel reporting tools and work packaging or 3D model review applications.
Strong coordination problem solving and progress reporting skills.
Required Skills:
Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
