- Ensuring that the Project quality procedures are established maintained and implemented by the EPC / FEE Contractor.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Contractor’s Engineering design activities, system integration, and design selection.
- Supervise and manage the review and approval of Contractor’s work, ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate the required Engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models. Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to ensure design optimization and validation for the Owner.
- Coordinate other discipline Engineer’s participation in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops.
- Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers.
- Coordinate auditing activities of the EPC / FEED Contractor and ensure that the recommendations for improvement are implemented.
- Manage and coordinate interface activities between the EPC / FEED Contractor, Owner as well as with outside third parties.
- Coordinate technical reviews and analysis during vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.
- Coordinate the review of technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis.
- A Bachelor degree in relevant engineering (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, IT, Computer, Software, Electronic etc.) or equivalent from an accredited University with a relevant experience in the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry with a relevant experience in GCC region.
- Must have with relevant experience in similar position for international major oil and gas or Petrochemical projects.
