TPF Recruitment is working on behalf of a great local firm of Chartered Accountants based in Maidstone who are looking for a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. Our client is a multi-sited firm of chartered accountants and they have been established in the Kent market for many years. Theyre looking for either a part qualified Semi Senior or Somebody who is qualified, or studying the AAT, ACCA or ACA to join them in a progressive and rewarding career. You will have lots of autonomy and our client will provide study support if required.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
- Assisting with management accounts production
- Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
- General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
Requirements
- You will have 2-5 years experience within an accountancy practice
- You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience
- You will have hands on experience of accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT preparation.
Benefits
- 25,000 - 35,000 per annum dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
