Job Description

- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable back-end systems supporting macro trading operations.
- Engage with trading desk personnel to understand their requirements and deliver tailored technological solutions.
- Work with DevOps and platform teams to automate deployment processes and ensure a streamlined delivery pipeline.
- Contribute to system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for system reliability and scalability.
- Maintain servers for optimal performance and deploy applications across various environments.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 10 years of backend development experience, with a focus on trading systems.
- Proficient in API development and familiar with RESTful, SOAP, or gRPC protocols.
- Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Strong understanding of system administration tasks, network protocols, socket programming, and low-latency systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Solid foundation in finance and macro trading principles
