Senior Architect (Buildings experience)

• Lead and coordinate all architectural design and engineering matters arising during the construction stage.
• Act as the main focal point between the Site Supervision Team Contractor Design Team suppliers and specialist subcontractors.
• Review architectural RFIs shop drawings material submittals method statements samples mock-ups technical proposals and as-built drawings.
• Ensure that the Contractor prepares and maintains a detailed schedule for all architectural engineering submissions approvals procurement and site activities.
• Monitor the Contractors submission programme and ensure that all required documents are submitted sufficiently in advance to meet the construction programme.
• Follow up on the appointment and mobilization of qualified architectural suppliers and specialist subcontractors and review their submission and procurement schedules.
• Identify any delayed submissions approvals material procurement supplier appointment or engineering activity that may affect the construction programme.
• Coordinate architectural matters with structural civil MEP landscape façade and other relevant disciplines and resolve interface and constructability issues.
• Lead architectural technical and progress meetings and ensure that all outstanding actions are properly tracked until closure.
• Provide regular reports to the Site Line Manager and immediately highlight any risk affecting design coordination procurement progress completion or handover.
• Ensure that all technical decisions instructions and approvals are properly documented and communicated through the approved project channels.
• Immediately report any unresolved technical matter non-compliance delay or risk to the Project Manager or Resident Engineer( Line Manager).

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering 
• 10-15 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience in buildings projects
• Previous experience in site supervision
