- Supervise the daily operations of the hotel security team to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Conduct regular briefings and debriefings to ensure effective communication within the security team.
- Oversee surveillance systems and security cameras to monitor the premises and identify potential security threats.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel property to maintain a visible security presence.
- Develop and implement emergency response procedures for various situations, including fire, medical emergencies, and security incidents.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, breaches, or guest complaints.
- Document and report incidents, providing recommendations for preventive measures.
- Manage access control systems, ensuring only authorized personnel and guests have access to restricted areas.
- Monitor and control the issuance of keys and access cards.
- Conduct regular training sessions for security staff on security protocols, emergency response, and customer service.
