Security site supervisor

• Maintain public order within the buildings/areas adjacent to the building/site and ensure any organized protests or illegal activities are managed effectively but sensitively.
• Liaise with government departments such as the police, fire service, civil defense etc. on all issues affecting security, including high-profile visits and events of all types that have the potential to create security concerns.
• Participate in Duserve emergency rescue and evacuation plan.
• Ensure that all necessary inspections of the property are performed and that security equipment is in serviceable condition.
• Ensure there are sufficient staff on duty at all times and ensure that shift changes are covered. Check details of staffing levels Plan annual leave for the team and ensure departmental tasks across Duserve and its clients remain covered by maximizing resource utilisation. • Draw the attention of the Security Manager or Operations Manager to any security issues, incidents and exceptional matters as appropriate.
• Act as investigating officer in disciplinary matters for employees for whom you are responsible.
• Responsible for ensuring procedures are in place for safe control of all main switches on site/building.
• Responsible for ensuring health and safety is adhered to as far as is practicable, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

• Manage a team of CCTV Operators on site and ensure monitoring and monitoring of the CCTV system.
• Instigating recall action in the event of a major incident/accident.
