Education and training:
Diploma in automotive mechanics or industrial maintenance. Some jobs may require higher education in mechanics or a related field.
Experience:
Previous experience working as a general mechanic, experience with automotive or industrial equipment can be advantageous.
Artistic skills:
Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems.
Knowledge of necessary mechanical tools and equipment.
Ability to read graphics:
The ability to read, understand and deal with technical drawings.
