Salon Assistant

• Greet clients and assist with checking them in for their appointments.
• Provide assistance to stylists and other salon staff as needed, including shampooing, conditioning, and drying hair.
• Prepare and set up salon stations, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist with laundry, including washing, folding, and restocking towels and capes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking retail products and ordering supplies.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries from clients.
• Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Follow salon procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and satisfaction of clients and staff.
• Assist with special events or promotions hosted by the salon.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a salon or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and a focus on providing exceptional service to clients.
