Sales Officer
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Officer with 35 years of UAE experience in the veneer timber wood products or decorative surface materials industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales strong industry knowledge and the ability to build long-term client relationships while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales within the veneer and timber craft product portfolio.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors interior designers architects furniture manufacturers and fit-out companies.
- Promote and sell products including:
- Natural Veneers
- Dyed Veneers
- Artificial & Wrapped Veneers
- Laminates & Decorative Panels
- MDF Plywood Hardwood & Softwood
- Conduct client meetings product presentations and site visits.
- Prepare quotations negotiate pricing and successfully close sales.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and customer records.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or a related field (preferred).
- 35 years of sales experience in the UAE within the veneer timber plywood laminates or decorative surface materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of wood products and interior finishing materials.
- Existing network within interior fit-out construction furniture manufacturing or contracting companies is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to achieve sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
