Do you currently work in a production or warehouse environment? Are you looking to move into a Quality Control position?

First Call Contract Services are currently looking to recruit a Quality Control Operative for our clients busy operation based in Chartham, Kent.

Immediate interviews & starts are available.

This role is being recruited for on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Candidate duties will include:

• Visual quality checks, including weights, size, count checks and checking country of origin / authenticity of all incoming produce according to product specification
• Record intake reports on all produce
• Communicating with production staff, ensuring all relevant personnel are aware of any quality issues as soon as they are identified
• Checking and verifying the cleanliness of all areas of the site
• Ensure that all quality and food safety is being followed at all times

Candidate experience will include:

• Have ideally worked within a Quality Control position, however all experience will be considered
• Previous experience of working within a production / packhouse
• Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment and as part of a team
• Have an excellent attention to detail
• Have excellent computer skills including Microsoft packages

Hours or work are Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, days TBC

Starting salary is £11.00 to £12.50 per hour depending on experience. Overtime £13.75 to £15.63 per hour.
