This is a remote position.
Our Client is a Silicon Valley-based VC-funded (seed funding) startup that is revolutionizing the DevOps and SRE automation space with Al. Their GPT-3-driven platform empowers DevOps and SRE engineers to document and automate routine tasks, saving them valuable time and increasing efficiency. With a growing customer base, including Fortune 500 companies, and partnerships with leading services companies, they are well-positioned for success. And we are looking for a "Founding Engineer" to grow their engineering team.
Looking to hire a founding engineer who has a minimum of 10 years work experience in the industry with respect to the skills mentioned below. As a founding engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a top-notch founding team on a cutting-edge product and help shape its development. You will have a high degree of freedom and autonomy to exercise your creativity and make a meaningful impact on the product and the company.
As a founding engineer, you will begin as an individual contributor but will have the opportunity to step into a leadership role and build a team. This is a remote role, while you may need to build a team abroad and may need to travel. If you have experience building and managing teams, that's a plus, but if not, they will provide the training and support you need to develop those skills. You will;
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in SaaS product development and a deep understanding of systems design and DevOps practices. Candidates should have experience with the following:
Public clouds: AWS (must), GCP (optional), Azure (optional). Certifications are plus
Container orchestration: Kubernetes (must), Docker (must)
Languages: Python (must), Golang,
Frontend technologies: Javascript, HTML, CSS, ReactS or VueJS
Databases: Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Postgres
Others: Familiarity with Kafka, Rabbitmq.
Automation tools: Familiarity with one or more of these Terraform, Ansible, Stackstorm, Chef, Puppet
