Reporting and Data Lead (Project Controls)

Were looking for an experienced Reporting and Data Lead to join our organization in Dubai United Arab Emirates. This is a strategic leadership position designed for a seasoned professional with 10-15 years of expertise in reporting and data management within the Energy & Natural Resources sector. The ideal candidate will drive data-driven decision-making across our organization establishing robust reporting frameworks and analytics capabilities. You will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support business objectives across mining oil & gas power energy and utilities operations.

• Design develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key business metrics and performance indicators
• Analyze complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends patterns and opportunities for operational optimization
• Establish and enforce data governance policies standards and best practices to ensure data quality accuracy and compliance across the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of business intelligence platforms and data management tools
• Develop and execute data strategy initiatives aligned with organizational goals and industry standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards specific to the Energy & Natural Resources sector
• Present data insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making
• Manage data projects from conception through delivery ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
• Stay current with emerging technologies tools and methodologies in data analytics and reporting

Qualifications :

• 10-15 years of professional experience with 5 year ideally in reporting data analytics or project controls. 
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Python or similar programming languages would be advantages 
• Expert-level knowledge of business intelligence platforms (Power BI or equivalent) 
• Strong expertise in data visualization and dashboard development
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling
• Solid understanding of data governance data quality management and compliance frameworks
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise data management systems
• Professional certifications in data analytics business intelligence or related fields are preferred
