Job Description
Education and training: Holds a bachelor’s degree in medicine, and the ability to practice internal medicine. Some may prefer to obtain advanced degrees such as a fellowship in internal medicine.
Licensing and professional classifications: He must be registered and licensed to practice medicine in the country in which he works, and preferably have the necessary professional classifications.
Experience: Previous work in the field of internal medicine, both hospital-based and outpatient, with a broad understanding of a variety of internal medical conditions.
Knowledge and Interpretation: A deep understanding of various internal diseases, diagnoses, available treatment options, and drug interactions.
