ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

We are the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions leading service provider of comprehensive petroleum, sales, maintenance, inspection, testing and construction management services to major oil suppliers, independent retailers, contractors and other public sector facilities. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to work at our headquarters in Manchester, NH. We are vastly growing and we need your help!

Responsibilities and Duties


  • Accurately process approved supplier invoices into Accpac Software (Product of Sage)
  • Perform 3-way match for PO, Receipt, and invoice
  • Research and reconcile invoice discrepancies, while effectively communicating with internal and external clients
  • Perform vendor account reconciliations
  • Process transactions and perform accounting duties, such as account maintenance and account reconciliations
  • Analyze current processes and procedures to ensure best practices are implemented
  • Handle Accounts Payable for separate offices across multiple states
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and function well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Support the day to day Accounts Payable operations
  • Perform coding and entering AP invoices as needed
  • Hours: M-F (8:00 am-4:30pm) with 1 2 hour paid lunch.


Requirements


  • 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Must be detailed oriented and have good communication skills
  • Possess a strong understanding of confidentiality
  • Basic accounting skills are required.
