Activities and EndPurposes

• Carries out necessary tests on finished and new products.
• Carries out necessary test on new raw materials.
• Assists the Central Lab Manager in all lab experiments and related work.
• Assists the Central Lab Manager for testing products at third party laboratory.
• Supervises the specimens preparation for laboratory analysis.
• Assists the Central Lab Manager in developing new solutions and products.
• Supervises and performs laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigation.
• Records and interprets results to present to the Central Lab Manager.
• Conducts researches on different topics on continuous basis.
• Supervises the preparation of solutions and mixtures for sampling purposes.
• Supervises necessary and monthly inventories of chemical products available.
• Boosts a sense of responsibility for keeping work areas and equipments in a clean condition amongst his team.
• Assures that items are well labeled for identification and retrieval of experiments and products elaboration.
• Follows and ensures safety procedures and safety checks.
• Will to travel to different branches for technical assistance or training.
• Helps the Product Managers to issues TDSs and certificates for finished products upon request.
• Assumes responsibility for the Laboratory cleanliness and its equipment.
• Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
• Propose ideas and projects to the Product Managers based on the market needs approved by the Central Lab Manager.
• Leads internal teams/task forces.
• Prepares a monthly report to the Central Lab Manager.

Qualifications / experience required

• BA in Chemistry or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Good command of the Arabic and English languages French is an asset.
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem prevention and problem solving skills.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work with accuracy and precision.
• Research Analysis and interpreting skills.
