Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures and organs
• Position patients correctly to ensure accurate imaging results
• Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality
• Collaborate with medical professionals to determine imaging requirements for each patient
• Provide patient care and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy, making adjustments if necessary
• Maintain and update patient records and ensure confidentiality
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field
• Valid Radiographer certification/license
• Solid knowledge of radiographic techniques and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy
• Proficient in operating radiographic equipment and technology
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move patients as needed
