WSP Middle East is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for the Green Riyadh Project considering materials labor equipment and other relevant factors.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements
• Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs for various elements of the mixed infrastructure project including buildings landscaping roads and utilities.
• Utilize industrystandard software for precise quantity calculations.
• Assist in developing and managing project budgets tracking costs and providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
• Identify potential costsaving measures without compromising project quality.
• Prepare tender documentation including bills of quantities and assist in the tendering process.
• Evaluate contractor bids and provide recommendations to the project team.
• Administer contracts and agreements with contractors subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization.
• Propose alternative solutions to achieve cost savings without sacrificing project objectives.
• Identify and assess potential risks related to cost overruns scope changes and other factors.
• Work with the project team to develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation related to quantities costs and contracts.
• Prepare regular reports on project cost status variances and forecasting.
• Manage the process of change orders including assessing the impact on quantities and costs.
• Negotiate changes with contractors and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with architects engineers project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external parties including contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure that all quantity surveying processes adhere to industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews to maintain accuracy in quantity calculations.

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in mixed infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and tendering processes.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations is advantageous.
