For the Project Manager, the Quality Manager will have overall responsibility for the quality management systems for assigned projects.
The Quality Manager is expected to be a technical leader in the field, promoting positive, proactive behaviors.
The Quality Manager will also demonstrate broader leadership, in the sense that he or she will actively engage with internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels and be recognized as an important authority on quality assurance and quality control matters.
Develop quality assurance strategies and plans and prepare quality assurance documents including workflow drawings, process maps and procedures.
Serves as an internal focus point and subject matter expert on all quality related matters within the mission.
Support the implementation of relevant standards.
Provide insights to customers that they value, to support improvement of customer quality culture and policy enhancement.
Under the direction of the Project Manager and in cooperation with staff, must manage the preparation and maintenance of procedures and instructional manual covering all aspects of the project.
Responsible for improving processes for assigned projects related to project planning, project control, communication and risk management.
Train and train employees in quality management and control procedures. Support the project manager in identifying and mitigating project risks.
If necessary, support the digital technology strategy's use of project control process systems and tools.
Develop document management system configuration documentation and protocols.
