QC Inspector, Painting

• Review approved drawings specifications method statements ITPs and quality procedures.
• Inspect surface preparation abrasive blasting painting and protective coating activities.
• Verify surface cleanliness profile ambient conditions paint mixing application method wet-film thickness and dry-film thickness.
• Inspect coating repairs touch-ups holiday testing and final acceptance.
• Verify paint materials batch numbers expiry dates storage conditions and manufacturer certificates.
• Inspect HVAC ductwork supports dampers insulation equipment installation and piping.
• Check installation of AHUs FCUs ventilation fans package units and other HVAC equipment.
• Verify duct dimensions alignment joint sealing pressure testing and air-leakage testing.
• Witness flushing pressure testing testing balancing and commissioning activities.
• Raise inspection requests and coordinate inspections with the client and consultant.
• Issue NCRs for non-conforming work and monitor corrective actions until closure.
• Maintain inspection reports test records calibration certificates and quality dossiers.
• Ensure measuring and testing equipment has valid calibration.
• Coordinate with construction engineering subcontractor and HSE teams.
• Ensure work complies with project safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications :

• Diploma or bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 57 years of QC inspection experience in oil and gas EPC or industrial projects.
• Relevant experience in painting/coating and HVAC inspection.
• UAE and ADNOC project experience is preferred.
• BGAS NACE/AMPP or equivalent coating certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of ASME ASTM ISO SMACNA ASHRAE and project-specific standards.
• Ability to read HVAC drawings P&IDs layouts specifications and inspection documents.
• Good communication reporting and coordination skills.
