QA/QC Inspector (Welding and Painting)

At Al Madina Agencies & Services LLC, we specialize in providing top-notch services within the oil and gas industry. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Inspector for Welding and Painting to join our team in Abu Dhabi, this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all fabrication, piping, structural, and coating works meet project specifications, adhere to international codes such as ASME, AWS, ISO, and comply with client standards, including those of ADNOC Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) pre-welding.

• Monitor welding parameters and pass-by-pass quality during the in-process phase.

• Coordinate Nondestructive Testing (NDT) reports and Post-Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) charts post-welding.

• Verify ambient conditions and inspect blast cleaning profiles for painting and coating.

• Monitor paint batch numbers, mixing ratios, and application methods for various coatings.

• Maintain accurate records of weld maps, weld logs, and repair controls.

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC inspection in oil and gas projects.

• Strong knowledge of international codes such as ASME, AWS, ISO.

• Familiarity with Nondestructive Testing (NDT) methods like RT, UT, MT, PT.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.

• Ability to work effectively in both onshore and offshore environments.

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in welding inspection (e.g., AWS CWI).

• Previous experience working with ADNOC Group standards.

• Familiarity with specialized industrial coating systems like 3LPP/2LFBE.
