Job Description:
The QA/QC Engineer Electrical will be responsible for supervising and monitoring all electrical and telecommunication work activities ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications. The role includes managing system manuals coordinating quality related activities with clients contractors and vendors and overseeing material inspections testing and commissioning processes.
Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor all electrical and telecommunication works including implementation of the QMS and Project Quality Inspection.
- Maintain and manage documentation such as system manuals international & national standards client specifications technical data sheets and product catalogs.
- Responsible for all electrical tasks including grounding cable management switches data systems and security systems.
- Ensure compliance with inspection requests and approvals as per the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and standards.
- Verify vendor accreditations certifications and approvals.
- Maintain quality records like QA/QC weekly reports internal inspection reports and NonConformance Reports (NCR).
- Review specifications project activity codes and standards including SAEST ITP UL NEC NFPA TIA/EIA IEC and IEEE.
- Witness and validate installations and inspections of various systems.
- Ensure proper material storage handling and identification at project sites.
- Monitor ongoing inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
- 5 years of work experience in the construction of electrical/infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities: Project Management and Supervision: Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors. Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory. Quality Control and Safety Compliance: Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Review the work progress on daily basis. Communication and Reporting: Report project progress and budget matters to clients. Communicate with clients to interpret their needs and requirements. Maintain a daily diary of the job site s operations, reporting to management as necessary. Problem Solving: Resolve any problems that may arise due to emergencies, delays, or other issues. Documentation: Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
