Work Performed
Responsible for repair and testing of various valves including but not limited of ball valves gate valves pressure relief /Safety valves globe valves etc.
Perform disassembly cleaning inspection repair (if required)reassembly and testing of all types of valves insitu or at workshop.
Troubleshooting of all types of valves and valve operators
Skilled in Lapping /Polishing and flatness measurement of seat/disc and nozzles
Adhere to the safety and process requirement.
Experience in Prepop testing servicing testing and calibration of pressure /Vacuum relief devices and recording the relevant data and updating in the system
Preparation of inspection reports and test certificate for valves
Arranging the spares and maintaining the inventory of spares for the critical valves
Minimum Requirements
Completion of Technical Secondary education certificate followed by 2 year formal training or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 10 year experience in Oil & Gas sector.
Able to communicate effectively in English Language (Written and spoken)
Age preferably not more than 45 years.
