Project Manager – Digital Transformation & AI

Location: Abu Dhabi UAE Onsite
Salary: Up to AED 10000/month

The Project Manager will manage and monitor specific initiatives and projects within a broader digital transformation program. The role is responsible for ensuring projects remain aligned with strategic objectives timelines budgets quality standards and expected outcomes.

The Project Manager will coordinate core project teams and vendors provide recommendations to improve initiatives review project outcomes and deliverables manage risks and dependencies and ensure successful execution across business and technology stakeholders. The role will support digital transformation initiatives involving cloud data AI automation and enterprise platforms within complex government or enterprise environments.

• Manage and monitor assigned initiatives and projects within the overall program ensuring alignment with strategic objectives scope timelines budgets and expected outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project plans milestones schedules dependencies deliverables and governance mechanisms.
• Coordinate cross-functional core teams across business technology data cybersecurity architecture procurement legal UI/UX and other relevant functions.
• Review project outcomes deliverables and performance against agreed objectives KPIs SLAs timelines and quality standards.
• Provide recommendations to improve project execution resolve issues optimize delivery approaches and ensure successful achievement of initiative objectives.
• Manage project risks issues assumptions dependencies and change requests ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Manage vendors and third-party partners including deliverables timelines dependencies performance commercial obligations and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure project deliverables are completed according to agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Track project budgets resource requirements procurement activities and contractual obligations in coordination with relevant teams.
• Facilitate project governance meetings steering committees status reviews and stakeholder workshops.
• Prepare regular project status reports executive updates dashboards risk reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure project documentation decisions action items requirements and deliverables are properly maintained and governed.
• Support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives involving cloud-native platforms enterprise applications data platforms automation Generative AI Agentic AI and other emerging technologies.
• Coordinate AI and automation initiatives from project planning through implementation ensuring alignment with business objectives governance requirements and expected benefits.
• Work with technical and business teams to identify dependencies integration requirements implementation challenges and opportunities for optimization.
• Support modernization initiatives including legacy platform assessment migration rationalization and decommissioning activities.
• Monitor adoption utilization performance and benefits realization of implemented solutions and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Support change management stakeholder engagement communications and organizational readiness activities associated with assigned initiatives.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable government policies cybersecurity requirements data governance standards procurement processes and organizational controls.
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery practices processes governance and stakeholder collaboration.
• Build effective working relationships with government stakeholders technology teams vendors and external partners.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems Artificial Intelligence Project Management or a related discipline. Masters degree is preferred.
• Relevant project/program management certification such as PMP PRINCE2 PMI-ACP or equivalent is preferred.
• 8 years of experience in project management with proven experience managing complex digital transformation technology or enterprise projects.
• Experience managing initiatives within large-scale enterprise or government environments is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams vendors stakeholders project dependencies risks and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile Scrum Waterfall hybrid delivery models and project governance.
• Experience delivering projects involving AI Generative AI Agentic AI cloud platforms data automation enterprise applications or digital transformation.
• Good understanding of AI concepts including Generative AI LLMs Agentic AI RAG prompt engineering AI governance and automation.
• Strong understanding of project planning budgeting risk management change management vendor management and benefits realization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate project outcomes and provide practical recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management presentation negotiation coordination and communication skills.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills are mandatory both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a client-facing onsite Abu Dhabi environment and coordinate with senior government and enterprise stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in project management and reporting tools with the ability to prepare executive-level project dashboards and status reports.
