Project Engineering Manager Piping

Define the scope of third-party engineering work and manage the review and approval of engineering deliverables with assigned functional leaders according to the project schedule.
Ensure comprehensive technical coordination between different engineering project development centers (other subsidiaries, subcontractors, partners)
Manage internal and external interfaces between new and/or existing pipelines and facilities within defined boundaries.
Support the Interface Manager or act as Interface Coordinator during the proposal phase and implementation phase of the project with the goal of obtaining final interface approval for the piping engineering package.
Support the Project Control Manager during the preparation of the piping project schedule and piping budget.
Technical oversight of key project deliverables to ensure accuracy and construction information.
Manage internal and external engineering and design resources to produce piping deliverables on time and on budget, and monitor the progress and performance of the project center and subcontractors.
Ensure effective technical coordination with customers, other stakeholders or third party representatives and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental standards and practices for onshore and offshore pipeline projects.
Define and achieve project procedures, directives and technical standards in collaboration with project leaders to achieve consistency and overall feasibility.
Adopting technical solutions that reduce project costs in accordance with the requirements of the technical contract.
Manage the man-hour budget for engineering activities on the project with the assistance of project leaders and project engineers.
Verify and manage project modifications, with a focus on reducing project implementation delays and costs.
Coordinate project design review meetings.
Participate in the project definition schedule, with project leaders involved and ensuring consistency and overall feasibility.
Ensuring technical support for the company's various management departments, whether during the presentation phase or during the preparation of project documents necessary to assign project-specific tasks and appoint suppliers for requests, and during the project implementation phases.
Ensure technical communication with the client, regarding all project issues that can arise and are of importance, in terms of achieving the project schedule and project costs.
