Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Systems to oversee project execution site coordination manpower planning material requirements and project documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong UAE/Gulf experience in fire protection systems and a good understanding of project and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute fire fighting and fire alarm projects in accordance with Civil Defence-approved and IFC drawings specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate daily site activities manpower allocation and work progress with supervisors and site teams.
- Prepare and raise Material Requests (MR) based on project requirements and follow up for approvals from the main contractor and consultant.
- Coordinate with main contractors consultants subcontractors suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and submit MIRs and WIRs based on site progress and ensure timely inspections and approvals.
- Prepare monthly progress invoices for completed works and follow up on payment certificates.
- Coordinate material deliveries transportation subcontractors and site inventory to avoid project delays.
- Prepare project reports documentation progress updates and other required records.
- Attend daily and weekly MEP/project meetings and provide updates on site activities progress and requirements.
- Identify site issues and support timely problem-solving to ensure projects are completed as per schedule and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Gulf/UAE experience in a similar role within the Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm industry.
- B.E./ or any relevant degree; equivalent qualifications may also be considered.
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of NFPA standards and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.
- Experience in site execution project coordination material requests MIR/WIR and project documentation.
- Good communication coordination manpower planning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors consultants subcontractors and site teams
Required Skills:
