The Role
A production manager in a post tension and prestressed manufacturing industry is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process. This includes managing the production team ensuring quality control and meeting production targets. The production manager is also responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment and implementing production strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Responsibilities: Oversee production processes: The production manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all production processes including material handling fabrication and assembly. Manage production team: The production manager is responsible for hiring training and supervising production staff. This includes scheduling and assigning tasks as well as providing performance evaluations and addressing any issues that may arise. Ensure quality control: The production manager is responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards. This includes monitoring production processes conducting quality checks and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Monitor production schedule: The production manager is responsible for creating and monitoring production schedules to ensure that production targets are met. This may involve working with other departments to coordinate production activities and meet customer demands. Implement costsaving measures: The production manager is responsible for identifying areas of improvement and implementing costsaving measures to increase efficiency and reduce production costs. Maintain a safe work environment: The production manager is responsible for ensuring that all production processes are carried out in a safe and compliant manner. This includes conducting regular safety inspections implementing safety protocols and providing safety training to production staff. Develop and implement production strategies: The production manager is responsible for developing and implementing production strategies to improve efficiency and meet production targets. This may involve implementing new technologies processes or procedures. Manage inventory: The production manager is responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring that all necessary materials and supplies are available for production. Liaise with other departments: The production manager works closely with other departments such as sales and logistics to ensure smooth production and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role in the manufacturing industry Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control standards Experience in implementing costsaving measures and improving efficiency Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations Proficiency in project management and production planning tools Fluency in English knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
