To succeed in this role, you will need:
- CIPS qualification or equivalent experience / qualifications
- HNC in mechanical/electrical engineering and/or relevant experience within a related manufacturing industry
- Excellent experience and working knowledge of contract drafting / and the negotiation of supply agreement
- Experience of Lean / Six Sigma principles
- Experience in managing supplier performance and implementing effective countermeasures as appropriate
- Experiencing of managing a team
- Full Driving License
- Ability to travel regularly on a global basis
- Familiar with developing Supplier strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
- Experienced practitioner within the development of KPI's to drive continuous improvement within overall Supplier Performance
